Employment law sessions in Manchester.
A series of free Employment Law seminars for HR professionals and managers is to be held at Oldham law firm Pearson Hinchliffe Commercial Law’s offices at the Hollinwood Business Centre starting on March 26. A second session will be held in April, precise date to be announced at a later date.
Sessions will be “Highly relevant, jargon-free and informative”.
2009 looks set to be a challenging year for business and a busy year on the legislative front, the sessions are tailored for HR management in a recession and will look at recent and imminent changes in employment practice. These include the abolition of Statutory Dismissal and Grievance Procedures and a review of a new ACAS code of practice to be implemented in April.
